Video Installation : Dark Landscape 01

In today's highly digital age, the showing of the painting has been developed and extended beyond the limitations of various physical materials. ShanShui painting in China, as an independent painting branch, expresses literati philosophy and spiritual realm. " Dark Landscape”, video paintings mutual-infiltrate the cosmology of Oriental philosophical thinking and Western unconscious anti representational aesthetics; use digital tools and computer algorithms to create abstract ShanShui, reconstruct the structure and texture of painting; expand the painting’s concept into the disorderly dynamic arrangement in spatial sequence; and mix the fluidity of painting, the spatiality of sculpture, motion, sound and other time elements. All elements are in cycle of movement. Time and space are changing. The world today is full of various uncertainties, such as source shortage; food crisis, war and virus, etc. Facing such a complex social environment, human state is often being hanging over by gloomy, empty and desperate emotions. As an artist living in the present, based on these emotional problems and personal thinking, created a series of works of "Dark Landscape". The image of the deep mystery and epic sense and the power generated in the staggered movement of virtual space, dissolving the boundaries of art genres，contains a kind of attention to the dimension of human thinking which independent out of physical space and linear time。
